NOTE: We are not advocating mass travel during this time, but we do want to continue to support the incredible businesses and destinations that make this world so amazing. However, we do encourage you to virtually travel through our articles and plan your visits for when it is safe to do get out there.

South Korea, Japan, and China dominate the conversation in our East Asia Travel section, but we’ve also included Vietnam, even though we’ve also included it in Southeast Asia. Like many other parts of the world, East Asia hosts diverse landscapes and cultures, with each just as fascinating as the rest. Massive cities like Beijing, Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul occupy this region, but there are also the beautiful, tranquil Ginkakuji in Kyoto and Naksan Beach in South Korea. Don’t forget the awesome things to do eat, including Korean and Japanese food, for starters. It’s such an interesting part of the world and we’re quite partial to it, considering we lived here for half a decade. If you want to know more, read through our East Asia travel guides that are dedicated to this region that continues to occupy our minds.
